What is on the Menu?

Answer

We will be having a buffet catered by Avi's Kitchen Catering which will include: A carving station with AAA Angus Beef Striploin, Peppercorn Sauce and Hollandaise Chicken Marsala + Mushroom + Marsala Wine Demi Classic Caesar Salad Heritage Blend Salad Browned Butter Mashed Potato Saffron Rice Pilaf Roasted Garlic Steamed Green Beans Dessert- Veriety of Cheesecake and Assorted Desserts

Question

Will there be a cash bar or hosted bar?

Answer

We will have both a hosted bar and a cash bar at the event. During the happy hour from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, select drinks—including Coors, Coors Light, Alamo Malbec wine, Kirkland Pinot Grigio wine, and Okanagan Cider—will be hosted. At the same time, the bar will be open for other items as a cash bar. After happy hour, the bar will operate as a cash bar for all alcoholic beverages. Pop, juice, coffee, and tea will be hosted and available all night.

Will we have time for photos with family and friends?

Answer

We will be planning photos with family and friends immediately after our ceremony outside of the Solara Resort. Please meet outside on the path so we can get photos with our extended family and friends that would like a photos with us. Following this we will meet our immediate family at three sisters viewpoint for photos with our parents, siblings, nieces and nephews.

Where will the wedding be held?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will take place at Mainspace, located within the Solara Resort in Canmore. This venue offers a stunning backdrop of the Canadian Rockies, ensuring a memorable setting for our special day.

How do I get to Canmore?

Answer

Canmore is accessible via the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1), and it is approximately a 1.5-hour drive from Calgary International Airport. For those traveling from Calgary, you can take the airport shuttle service or rent a car for a scenic drive through the Canadian Rockies. There are also bus services that operate between Calgary and Canmore, offering a convenient and budget-friendly option for travel.

What time will the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to ensure you are seated and comfortable before the proceedings commence.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

There is street parking nearby the Solara Resort. Many of the hotels and resorts listed are within walking distance to the Solara Resort. Cabs are available throughout Canmore if you choose that option.

Are there accommodations nearby?

Answer

The Solara Resort offers luxurious accommodations for our guests. Additionally, there are several hotels and lodges within a short distance.

What's the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal. We kindly request that guests wear elegant attire suitable for a sophisticated occasion. For men, this means a suit and tie, and for women, a floor-length gown or an elegant cocktail dress. We encourage you to dress to the nines to complement the grandeur of the event and the picturesque setting of the Canadian Rockies.

Will there be a reception after the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, the reception will follow immediately after the ceremony at the same venue. There will be a 3 hour break between the ceremony and the reception, providing an opportunity for guests to enjoy Canmore. The reception will feature a seated dinner, dancing, and entertainment. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

No, we have chosen not to do a gift registry. If you wish to give something, we kindly ask for a monetary gift to help us start our new life together. For you convenience we have included our email for e-transfer below. Please add Jenn and Taylor 2026 in the message box. Additionally, gift cards for items for our new home would be greatly appreciated. If you would prefer to give us a gift card, we have listed several ideas below. Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to limited seating, we kindly ask that you adhere to the names listed on your invitation. Please note that our celebration will be an adult only event, with the exception of children in our families. If you have any special requests, please contact us directly.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we will be hosting a welcome event the afternoon before the wedding. The theme for the afternoon is "Cowboys and Cocktails," and we encourage all guests to dress accordingly to embrace the fun and festive atmosphere. Think cowboy hats, boots, and Western-inspired attire with a cocktail flair. It will be a casual gathering where you will have a chance to meet and mingle with other guests before the big day. We hope to see you there in your best cocktail cowboy-themed outfit!
