Once you book your flights, you can reserve optional Club Mobay fast-track airport service — spots fill fast, so book early! ✅ Weather in May May is warm and sunny, with highs around 85–88°F (29–31°C) and balmy tropical evenings. While May is the very start of the rainy season, showers are usually brief and it’s well before peak hurricane season — expect lots of sunshine and beach-perfect days! ✅ Resort Overview Sandals Negril is all-inclusive: 7 restaurants, 5 bars, 3 pools, 3 whirlpools, beach access, water sports (snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, Hobie Cat sailing), scuba diving (certified only), entertainment, and airport transfers. ✅ Transportation Upon arrival at MBJ, Sandals staff will greet you, take your bags, and bring you to the Sandals Lounge — enjoy snacks, drinks, and clean restrooms before the 90-minute shuttle to the resort. ✅ Packing Tips Pack light! If you’ve booked Club Mobay, their team will fast-track you through immigration and customs and then personally escort you directly to the Sandals Lounge. ✨ The Sandals Lounge is a private, comfortable space where the friendly Sandals staff will greet you, take your bags, tag them for the right resort, and arrange your shuttle. While you wait, you can use the clean restrooms, enjoy a complimentary drink (yes, you can grab a cold beer or soft drink!), and have a light snack before heading out. ✨ The shuttle ride to Sandals Negril takes about 90 minutes, giving you time to sit back, relax, and take in the beautiful Jamaican scenery.
