Yes, our events are kid-friendly. We would love to see your little ones with you. Please be sure to RSVP for all family members who plan to attend the events.
There is extremely limited parking at Grow Dat, therefore, we are asking everyone who can to please utilize rideshare (Uber, Lyft are readily available) or carpool to the wedding.
We do not have a hotel block for this wedding. We recommend booking accommodations at one of the many fabulous hotels in New Orleans or finding an Airbnb that works well for your plans. Our wedding events will take place near City Park and in the 7th Ward/Tremé area.
Anywhere in New Orleans can work, but staying somewhere with easy access to City Park, the 7th Ward, or Tremé will make getting around simpler for wedding events.
For the wedding, the dress code is Farm Festive: festive, comfortable, and appropriate for an outdoor farm setting. Fall colors, prints, and shoes that can handle grass are all great choices. For the welcome party, halloween costumes are optional. Afterward, we’ll be heading to the Krewe of Boo parade in the French Quarter, so feel free to dress up with us if you’d like!
Yes. Our wedding will take place outdoors at Grow Dat Youth Farm, so please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes for walking on grass and uneven ground.
October is usually a beautiful time of year in New Orleans, but it can still be warm during the day. Average daily highs in October range from the mid-80s to the mid-70s. We recommend checking the forecast closer to the weekend and dressing accordingly.
