Travel Note
There are 3 main ways to get down to Key West: 1) Drive all the way (remember, Florida is a long state!). 2) Fly into Miami or Ft. Lauderdale and rent a car. It's about a 3.5 hour drive down the keys from either airport and it's a scenic ride most of the way. 3) Fly directly into Key West. This made be easiest for some folks if you don't want to rent a car. Once you're on the island you'll be able to get around fairly easily. The hotels we're looking at below have shuttle services and Uber's, Lyft's and taxis are easy to catch.
Travel Note
Given that the wedding is on a Sunday, and the next day is a holiday (President's Day), we're hoping that our guests can join us on the island from Saturday-Monday for two nights. We will have some group activities for folks on Saturday (Conch Train!) and we would love to see everyone as much as possible. If you're interested in traveling and/or staying with other friends or family that may be coming, feel free to reach out to us and ask who has confirmed and/or been invited so that you can make plans.
Hotel
This is one of the hotels that we're considering for a potential room block. It's 1.5 miles from the wedding venue and there are shuttles every 30 minutes to and from Old Town Key West (where the Audubon House is located).

Hotel
This hotel is right across the street from the Audubon House, in the heart of Old Town, and on the water at Mallory Square. It's where we are planning to stay. The only downside is that it's quite expensive, about $500-$600 per night that weekend.
