We had been acquaintance's for a few years have met in passing. It wasn't until our friends baby shower in July of 2017, that we really started talking. We had our first date the next week, and while out fishing on his boat September 15, 2017 our relationship became official.

For my 30th birthday, we took a trip to Charleston, SC, my favorite place in the world, with my parents. While staying in Folly Beach, Kevin insisted we take a trip out to the Morris Lighthouse. He wanted it to be just us, so we spent the morning exploring the new location. While walking on the beach I realized Kevin was not next to me. I turned around to see where he was and he was down on one knee. I was so surprised and happy neither of us could stop crying.
