Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. If it is impossible to leave the little ones at home and you would still like to attend, please contact Jenn directly.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes we have a hotel block for guests. Please see the "Travel" section of this website. The hotel is Capital Plaza Hotel in Frankfort and there is a group discount code when you reserve with our block of rooms. We highly recommend you stay in this hotel, as there will also be a complimentary shuttle for guests running to and from the hotel before the ceremony and at the end of the night.

Will there be transportation to and from the wedding site?

Answer

Yes! There will be a complimentary shuttle running from the Capital Plaza Hotel to the Buffalo Trace Distillery and back before the ceremony, after dinner, and at the end of the night after the dancing.

What airport should we fly to?

Answer

The closest airport to Frankfort, KY is Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, KY. Feel free to look into surrounding airports such as Louisville and Cincinnati to find the best flight to fit your schedule and budget.

Can I take a tour of Buffalo Trace Distillery?

Answer

There will be a free distillery tour and tasting during the cocktail hour of the wedding celebrations. The Buffalo Trace tour is one of Jenn and Keith's favorite distillery tours and they highly recommend you take advantage of the chance to view the beautiful historic grounds.

What's going on Friday night?

Answer

Yes, a Welcome to Town Get Together! After their rehearsal dinner, Jenn and Keith will be at Bourbon on Main from 8:00pm to visit with friends that stop in.

Will there be a chance to say good-bye before I leave on Sunday?

Answer

Yes! The newlyweds will be downstairs in the dining area of the hotel, where the complimentary breakfast is located, from 9-10am Sunday morning should you wish to bid them farewell.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire: Cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and slacks and button down shirts. Ties are optional. The ceremony is outdoors on a grassy lawn so re-think stilettos. The reception is indoors.

Do I need cash?

Answer

There will be an open bar. Cash tips are appreciated for the bartender.

What if there is inclement weather?

Answer

Guests will have cover throughout the ceremony and reception. Umbrellas are recommended for the walk from the parking lot to the clubhouse.
