They shared a summer class at UC Davis. While they didn't officially meet on the first day, they noticed each other. After class, they each made their way to the local rock climbing gym and crossed paths once again. A short conversation showed them that they had a lot in common, and from then on they continued to meet up after class at the climbing gym and get to know each other.

Their first date was dinner at de Vere's Irish Pub (now closed!) followed by competitive games in the apartment game room. Jenn won air hockey (not that anyone is keeping track...)

They knew this was something special. On this day, Josh asked Jenn to be his girlfriend.

With Jenn starting medical school in the Bay Area, they were brought even closer together and began sharing a home.

A homeless dog found his way underneath Josh's truck for a night's rest. He was the sweetest boy looking for a warm home and a good meal. It didn't take long before Buddy captured their hearts and became part of the family.

They were introduced to Koda, a spunky pup already as tall as Buddy with extra large feet and satellite ears. He added a little extra energy to their home, and they fell in love with the new addition to the family.

At the top of Haleakalā, a dormant volcano on Maui, HI, Josh got down on one knee and asked Jenn to marry him. She said yes!

On this day, they will tie the knot and their families will become one. We hope you can attend this very special day!
