What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4pm. Please plan to arrive between 3:30pm and 3:55pm sharp. There will be a shuttle service from the Residence Inn by Marriott in Gilbert that will bring guests to the venue. Please check back closer to the wedding date for shuttle times.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, please wear a suit/dress. This is a formal occasion, even though the venue is outdoors. Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. Venue is outdoors in the middle of the Superstition Mountains. For footwear, flats or wedges are recommended, not stilettos because of potentially uneven ground. Since the wedding is in November, we recommend to bring a jacket or cover up for when the sun goes down, though we will have fire and heaters onsite.

Are kids welcome?

Yes, kids are welcome. Our children will be there and part of the ceremony - Emerson is 9 and Holden is 6 :) If you are planning to bring your children, please let us know their ages when you RSVP.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a room block at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Gilbert, book under the name Kamb-Harms. Room block ends on the last day of September - please book ASAP. Please see Travel page for more hotel options and details. Note: there will be a shuttle service from the Residence Inn by Marriott that will take all guests (no matter where they are staying) to and from the venue.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Yes, we want to accommodate all allergies and issues. Please let us know on the RSVP page for each guest.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be parking at the venue for anyone who wishes to drive themselves, however, as the venue is in the middle of the Superstition Mountains, we recommend for ALL GUESTS to take advantage of the free shuttle service that will be going back and forth from the Residence Inn by Marriott in Gilbert. Please see Travel page for hotel address. More details about shuttle times will come closer to the wedding date.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

YES! There is an unpaved bumpy dirt road, with no lights, about 6 miles/20 minutes, as part of the trail to the venue. For all guests (and their vehicles) safety, we highly recommend for all guests to take the complimentary shuttle we will be providing from the Residence Inn by Marriott in Gilbert (see Travel page for address). This shuttle will go back and forth between the venue and the hotel several times prior to the wedding and at the end of the night. Schedule details will be listed closer to the wedding date.
