On January 16th, 2018, Jacky expressed her intentions of pursuing a relationship with Jenn. Three years on the exact date, January 16th, 2021, Jacky proposed. Jacky orchestrated a surprise trip to Joshua Tree, where Jenn would have her first experience "glamping." Amid planning, Jacky lost sleep, broke out (which never happens), and was filled with anxiety on the days leading up to the trip. Jacky rented an Airstream located in an isolated and romantic area. Before the sunset could escape them, Jacky asked Jenn to hang out in the Airstream while she set up an evening surprise. As Jenn patiently waited, Jacky set up for the proposal in front of the Airstream. After running back and forth, pulling props left and right, the vision was set! Scented pink rose petals adorned the ground, the light-up letters spelled out "Marry Me," and a neon rainbow was placed. At this point, Jacky extremely out of breath was ready to propose. Jacky set the mood with one last touch by playing the acoustic violin version of Perfect by Ed Sheeran. Jacky requested Jenn's presence outside of the Airstream with one last request, her eyes be closed as they walked outside. Jacky took Jenn blindly down the pathway as they romantically danced together. As the sun was setting and Jenn was completely confused as to what was going on. Jacky spun Jenn once, took a dip, and swiftly got down on one knee. Jacky, on bended knee, asked Jenn to open her eyes, and at that moment, she proposed. Shaking and barely able to get the words out, as tears were flowing down, she asked, "Jennifer Elizabeth Flores, will you marry me?"
