Is there a dress code?

Answer

Summertime semi formal. If we were guests at this wedding, Gavin would wear a short sleeve button up with nice pants and Jenn would wear a flowy sun dress. All events will take place on an uneven lawn, so please be wary of heels.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your little-ones, but are planning on an adult-focused celebration. We know arranging childcare can be tricky, so if this will be a barrier to your joining us, please reach out.

Are dogs allowed?

Answer

If you know the Johnson's, then you know that typically every event is a dog friendly affair. But for this weekend, please no dogs on the property.

I would love to camp, but I'm flying in and don't want to pack all my gear. What should I do?

We have tons of camping equipment, please text Jenn or Gavin and they will get you set up!

I'm planning on camping, what should I bring?

Answer

Please pack everything you need to be fully self sufficient. We will have outhouses set up throughout the weekend and a camping style hand and dish wash area set up by the river. There is a well on the property with delicious drinking water, so no need to pack in water. Please bring your own snacks for in between group meals.

Are there Ubers or Lyfts in Garden Valley?

No. If you aren't staying on the property, please plan accordingly and arrange for a safe ride back.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

August in Garden Valley will likely be in the 80's or 90's during the day and cool off significantly at night. We are planning for as many events as possible to be in the shade. Definitely pack a jacket for the evening.
