Jenn and Cory's story began like many, through mutual friends on New Years Eve. There was something easy from the beginning, the kind of conversation that lingers, bonding over books, fantasy and adventure. When they finally met in person on January 18th, they were supposed to go to Astra Lumina but the rain had other plans. Instead, they found themselves sharing dim sum, laughing, talking and unknowingly starting a tradition where life never quite goes according to plan and is better for it. From the first date, Cory knew. He told friends and family that he wanted to marry Jenn almost immediately, feeling something that felt like home. Jenn didn't take much longer, realizing that Cory was everything that she had been waiting for - kind, patient, endlessly supportive and able to make her laugh when it mattered the most. What started as a spark quickly became something steady, safe, and deeply loving. On October 18th, at the All Hallows Amphitheater in Washington D.C., Cory planned a surprise that Jenn didn't figure out on her own. What she thought was a bar crawl with friends, turned into one of the most meaningful moments of her life. Even when parking chaos briefly threatened the plan, everyone stayed right where they were because this was the moment. Surrounded by love, history, and intention, Cory asked Jenn to marry him and she said yes, completely surprised and completely certain. Now, they are stepping into the next chapter together, grateful for the rainstorms, the laughter, and the love that brought them here. What began with a simple phone call has grown into a life they are so excited to share, hand in hand!
