Matanuska Glacier Retreat is ~2 hours north of Anchorage. The drive is beautiful, but the road is winding with some sharp curves and there may be construction. Take it slow and give yourself ample time to enjoy the scenery and arrive by 2:45pm. There should be a black sign for Matsnuska Glacier Retreat near milepost 104 on the right at the turn off. Please note: The venue only has parking spaces for 16 vehicles. PLEASE CARPOOL!!!! We are happy to put you in touch with other guests to arrange carpools.
