From Jenn: In January of 2011, I was living in ATL & got a call from Courtney (my life-long best friend) telling me she had a dream about me and knew who my soulmate was. I told her she was insane and she said "I'm sorry it took me so long to realize this but you HAVE to meet him - he is your soulmate". She was talking about her best friend from high school, Bron. She called & told him the same thing and, long story short(er), we met at a Taco Mac and hit it off and started dating. One day I'm talking to my mom & mention my new boyfriend Bron. She says "Bron Chandler? Glenn Chandler's son?" I tell her yes, and she says "Glenn Chandler is one of my heroes! And I have a picture of you & Bron together as babies". Bron & I had no idea about any of this. He and Courtney went to high school in Gwinnett County and I was in Dahlonega and then moved to Atlanta. But my mom pulled out a scrapbook and showed me the picture of me and Bron as babies with "FIRST DATE" written at the top! We could not believe it. Since then, SO MUCH has happened, we have both been through a lot and really changed as people- but Courtney was right. Our souls are mates. We have created an INCREDIBLE little boy and a beautiful life together. Also, just as additional confirmation that the universe has always had this in the plans: About a year ago, Bron's mom brought over their family photo album so we could look through baby pictures, and we found a whole page dedicated to pictures from our play date that day - just a baby Jenn and Bron photo shoot! Sherrie didn't even remember making that page but it was there. Around the same time, my parents were moving & found an old posterboard presentation I had made for school in 3rd or 4th grade. It had pictures of Hanson, BSB, Andrew Keegan, and my family. And then a picture of me & Bron. No one knows why I included that picture on there, but I did. I didn't even know who he was then. We are SO excited to be married and can't wait to celebrate with you.

From Jenn: After a year of being extremely careful, we caught COVID-19 in February of 2021. Like 10 days before we were scheduled to close on our new house that we had watched be built over the previous year and were VERY ANXIOUS to get into. Thankfully, we were able to complete the closing over Zoom. Not the experience we had in mind but as long as we got the keys, we didn't care. Although we did actually have to wait a little to get the keys. ANYWAYS -- We had a really stressful few weeks. For 2 weeks, we thought Bron didn't have it so Jack & I quarantined together while I also worked from home. On the LAST DAY of my quarantine, when we would finally be free, Bron started feeling symptoms and tested positive. QUARANTINE RESET. All while taking care of a toddler, working from home, closing on a house and moving. So it was a bittersweet time to say the least. One day, we're in the garage at the new house. Looking at the cloudy, dreary, cold day, talking about plans. We're still in COVID mode and both wearing sweats. And Bron turns around and says "now there's just one more thing" and gets down on one knee and asks if I will marry him. I always wondered how he'd pull off a surprising proposal because I was always ready for it. I tried to pretend not to be because I knew how much Bron would care about it being a surprise, but I have no poker face and I was so excited to get engaged to him and I just knew it had to be coming at some point. And he did find a way to surprise me! He said he just couldn't wait any longer. I was so happy!!! It made everything perfect and happy instead of stressful and frustrating. Bron is my hero and my soulmate and I couldn't be more excited to share his name and legally be his family for the rest of our lives!
