Jenn and Alen meet at work. We were colleagues, who turned into friends, who turned into more than friends.

Jenn moves to the United Kingdom and this kicks off the start of a long-distance love story filled with travel adventures, lots of video calls, tearful goodbyes at airports followed by bear hugs upon returns.

One spring morning, Alen takes Jenn out on a rowboat in Central Park in New York, where Jenn is now living. As a saxophone plays "Somewhere over the Rainbow" (Jenn's favourite song) on Bow Bridge, Alen gets down on one knee and asks Jenn to be his wife.

We set the date! We made plans! But together with our families, we made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding due to the uncertainty caused by COVID-19.
