On the evening of September 24th, 2015 in Keene, New Hampshire, Jenna was looking for a college house party to attend to celebrate her upcoming 19th birthday. While roaming the streets of Keene with her roommate they stumbled upon a house on 20 Elliot Street, where Jake lived and happened to be throwing a party that night. While inside, Jake overheard Jenna talking about her birthday and requested that she get on his shoulders. This was not something Jenna would've typically obliged to but with a mix of adrenaline and Justin Bieber blasting on the speakers in the background, Jenna agreed. It was then that Jake had the whole party stop and sing happy birthday to her. Their first photo together was a screenshot from a Snapshot video of this event, and Jenna immediately tweeted on Twitter at 11:24pm referring to Jake as the "Guy" who had a whole house sing happy birthday to her. Jake made Jenna feel special that night, and became the "Guy" that she would quickly fall in love with :)
