FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by Saturday, June 20, 2026.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. Mahalo for understanding as we keep our celebration intimate!

Question

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Answer

As much as we love your keiki's, we’ve chosen to make our wedding day - both the ceremony and reception - an adults-only celebration (with the exception of our families’ kiddos!).

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Garden Cocktail Think elevated cocktail attire with an island, garden-inspired feel.

Question

Is transportation provided to the wedding venue?

Answer

We will be providing shuttle transportation from Hanalei and Princeville to the venue and back. While optional, we highly recommend taking the shuttle, as there are no rideshare services in the area and we want everyone to enjoy the evening safely without needing to drive (no drinking and driving!) . If you do plan to drive, parking will be available at the botanical gardens. More details on shuttle timing and pickup locations will be shared as we get closer.

Question

Will the ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything will be outdoors! Ceremony and the reception. It will be in a botanical garden on grass.

Question

When should we book travel and accommodations?

Answer

The earlier, the better! The North Shore is small and tends to book up. We recommend reserving your flights, lodging, and rental car as early as possible to get the best rate.

Question

Do we need a rental car?

Answer

Yes highly recommend! Kauaʻi is best explored with your own wheels! Reserve early. Turo is also a great option for island travel.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

September in Kauaʻi is one of the best months to visit. Tourist season is over and its warm and breezy, with tropical showers here and there (it’s part of the island charm!).

Question

When should we arrive in Kauaʻi, and how long should we stay?

Answer

Totally up to you!! For those traveling from Texas or the East Coast, it’s definitely a long trip - so the more time, the better. Most of our guests will be turning it into a little vacation and staying for the week. We’ll be there for at least a week ourselves, with plenty of opportunities to hang out, explore the island, and soak it all in together. We’re planning a welcome party the day before the wedding and a casual beach day that Saturday after at Hanalei Bay - just some fun ways to spend extra time together for anyone who’s around!
