Radium Hot Springs
One of British Columbia’s top natural hot springs is found in Kootenay National Park. This family-friendly facility offers plenty of space to relax and soak in the expansive hot pool or cool off with the kids in the swimming pool. Radium hot springs is a 31 minute drive from Panorama, most guests will be coming through Radium on route, prepare for a slow drive through with the occasional profanity directed towards tourists.
Invermere
Invermere will be your best option for groceries, booze, restaurants, and supplies. You will travel through this gorgeous mountain town on your way, following Toby creek for 19 minutes west until you hit party time (aka Panorama).
Fubuki Sushi
Great sushi, we throughly enjoyed this little restaurant during our summer visit. It can get busy so reservations are recommended.
Peppi's Italian Fuel
We tried to eat here after all the good things we had heard about this Italian restaurant, but unfortunately it is quite small and was an hour wait when we went without a reservation, be smarter than us and book ahead of time.
Greywolf Golf Course
#1 rated public golf course in BC, if you are a golfer bring your clubs. We will be organizing a group of 20-25 for a Friday morning round, plan for it! Located in a spectacular alpine setting at Panorama Mountain Village, Greywolf is a course that just wins people over, time and time again.
Panorama Mountain Resort- White Water Rafting
This whitewater adventure offers thrills and excitement throughout the twists and turns of the Class I – III rapids of the beautiful Toby Creek. It is great for the first time rafter or the seasoned professional. It’s a must do for all outdoor adventure families. Minimum age is 8 years. The trip departs directly from Panorama's Adventure Centre in the Lower Village, $67 per/person.
Panorama Mountain Resort- Hiking
From a leisurely stroll to an adventurous full day hike there are a ton of great walks and hikes at Panorama. We have a wide variety for you to choose from depending on your energy levels & time frame.
Panorama Mountain Resort- Mountain Biking
The Panorama Bike Park celebrates old school riding while embracing the new directions and trends of the ever the evolving sports of downhill and XC mountain biking. The park’s roots are obvious in the braided labyrinth of burly tech DH trails. The Panorama Bike Park is accessed by the Mile 1 Express chairlift.
Panorama Mountain Resort- Mini Golf
Mini golf is tons of fun and never grows old. A perfect family activity for all ages. Located in the lower village at the Adventure Centre is a putter’s paradise of 18 holes perfect for the whole family.
