Maid of Honor
After meeting in 7th grade Language Arts class, going to high school together, attending colleges nearby to one another and beyond, it's fair to say we've experienced every milestone together; so it only makes sense that she's standing right next to me on the most important day of my life.
Co-Maid of Honor
Shannon and I were randomly paired up to be roommates our freshman year at Cal since we both played on the Women's Soccer team and we new instantly that we were going to be best friends for life. Fun fact: Shannon was the first person (our Junior year in college) to call out that she thought Justin and I would get married one day!
Bridesmaid
My soon-to-be sister-in-law and one of my absolute favorite people. Since I was a young girl I would throw pennies into the fountain at the mall wishing for a sister. Flash forward 20-something years and I could not be more grateful that I'll finally have a sister as amazing and fun as Alyssa.
Bridesmaid
Sophia has been one of my best friends and biggest cheerleaders ever since meeting at a 4th of July party in Lake Take my Sophomore year of college. She's my go-to person when I'm in need of an adventure, life guidance or an enthusiastic dance partner (AKA keep an eye out for her on the dance floor!).
Bridesmaid
Laura is my 6'4" blonde twin who frequently gets confused for my sister. Though we attended the same college, we actually didn't meet until a few years after through a mutual friend. The day we met she instantly became one of my best friends and is one of the few people who understands my perspective on life (literally & figuratively)!
Best Man
As my older brother, Chris has been with me my whole life. We moved around the world together as kids with our parents, and now we are not only brothers but great friends. Growing up our extended family was far away in South Africa and the UK, and I'm looking forward to the local Sampson clan expanding with little ones in the years to come!
Groomsman
Paul came into my life in 2015 and I'm happy to call him my brother. We've shared amazing memories in the UK, South Africa, the US, and will share many more as the years go on.
Groomsman
Nick Alberson and I met in our college fraternity Fiji. We lived in the house together for a few years and our friendship remains strong even after our college days. Nick "Alby" has been a partner in crime for years and will continue to be in the years to come. Some of my favorite memories with Nick were when we were neighbors in the house knocking on our walls as some kind of morse code. Not having Nick down the hall, or in the same state, was an adjustment, but now we meet up any chance we get!
Groomsman
Andrew Rimel and I met my sophomore year of college and our friendship grew through our college years and beyond. We had many a night discussing the intricacies of Bayesian statistical models and philosophy. Andrew is a great friend and I look forward to us philosophizing about life and its many lessons in the years to come.
Groomsman
Devon and I met my sophomore year of college. He and I were snappa partners through a good portion of our time at Cal. Since then we've spent time together in San Francisco, Tahoe, Vail, San Diego, New York, and Boston. Devon is a great friend, and I appreciate our time together especially when we get to do cool things like backpacking Desolation Wilderness or in the Stanislaus Forest. I'm excited to have Devon up there with me on the big day.
Groomsman
Nicholas is Jenna's brother and now my brother. Over the last 9 years, I've gotten to know Nicholas and understand what a great guy he is. Whether it's spending time taking photographs of Jenna for @jennacavalini, hiking in the woods, or reading/writing poetry and literature Nicholas is creating and adventuring. I'm grateful to have his support entering into this lifelong adventure with Jenna.
Groomsman
Connor is Jenna's younger brother and the youngest of the Brennan family. He and I have gotten to know each other over the past 9 years. One of the things I admire about Connor is his dedication and work ethic. Whether it's playing D1 Football at Illinois or going through the rigorous training to become a firefighter, Connor isn't afraid of a challenge. I'm glad to have Connor's support in my adventure with Jenna, and I'm looking forward to many family gatherings and experiences to come.
