We're married! Let's celebrate (finally)!

Friends and family, first and foremost we hope you and your loved ones are well! We feel very optimistic about celebrating with you this summer with the broader availability of vaccines across the country! We both received our first shot earlier in April, and will be "fully vaccinated" by mid-May. We couldn't be happier with the promising news we have heard about protection from illness and transmission. As you (probably) know, we officially got married last summer - which means June 27 is all about celebrating our love with our closest family and friends! We know many of us have not celebrated with (or seen...) this many people in a long time. We promise to throw a hell of a party AND make it safe (seriously!) The health and safety of all is top of mind for us, so we want you to know this: 1) Our venue is a beautiful farm with plenty of outdoor space, including a gorgeous covered pavilion. With our late June date, we are planning to celebrate primarily outdoors. As of March of this year, the guidance for gatherings in Massachusetts has been updated to 150 outdoors / 100 indoors (and our guest count falls well within these bounds!) 2) We will be following all covid protocols in place at the time of the wedding. Full stop! All of our vendors are very responsible and will make sure we have the best time possible while being safe. 3) We are asking that all guests to either 1) confirm you are fully COVID vaccinated OR 2) plan to take a covid test within 48 hours of the event. We really (really) can't wait to celebrate with you and fully believe it will be worth the wait! Well, that was crazy, huh? We postponed our wedding originally scheduled for April 25, 2020 just 6 weeks before with naïve hopes of celebrating on July 26th. As early summer rolled around, it became pretty clear that the big celebration we were planning for was not going to happen ... but we decided to tie the knot anyway! On July 25th, we were officially married in a small ceremony at Valley View Farm, followed up a backyard pool party at the Taylor residence. Although our wedding day was very special , we did feel the absence of many of our dearest family and friends. With COVID vaccines rolling out, we are hopeful we will have the chance to celebrate (as normally as possible) in 2021. At this point, we are planning as though we will be able to celebrate our marriage with you on Sunday, May 9, 2021, and are asking you to please keep this date saved. However, of course, we do not know with any certainty what 2021 will look like, and realize we may need to make adjustments to our plans - including moving the date again (maybe 4th time's the charm?) Everyone's safety is our top priority and will guide our decisions. We will keep you updated HERE with any updates as soon as we have them!
