Elkin's Resort is absolutely beautiful and has a variety of things for guests to do - which is why we fell in love with this location for our wedding weekend! There is a marina with boat slips available for rent for those who would like to bring their boat for the weekend. No boat? No problem! There are boat rentals available including Luxury Cobalt Boats, Harris Pontoons and Boston Whaler Sport boats. Elkin's Resort has a private beach with a fire pit, volleyball net and Adirondack chairs lined along the water for those who prefer the beach. Behind the beach are some hiking trails that offer a trail that can be used for a stroll along the lake and through the woods or there is a longer and more intense trail for those who would like to get a good hike in. For those who enjoy food as much as we do - The Lodge is known for their award-winning meals or stop in to Trapper Creek Bar where you can find a must-have huckleberry daquiri. Please see their website for additional information!
