FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is colorful cocktail attire, think summer! Ladies feel free to wear cocktail/midi/floor length dresses. Gentlemen may wear slacks and a button down shirt with or without a tie. Please refrain from wearing the color white as we kindly request to reserve that for the bride.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you are given a plus one your invite will be addressed to your name and “guest.” Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love and adore your little ones, however, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you use this night as a fun date night! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Am I invited to the ceremony?

Answer

Due to limited space in the chapel, we will be exchanging vows in a private ceremony with very close family and friends and ask that you join us for drinks, dinner, music, and dancing to celebrate our elopement at our reception! Your invite will specify. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Reception begins at 6:00 PM. Ceremony guests please refer to invite and be sure to arrive at least 15-20 minutes early so you have ample time to park and settle in. There is free parking on site. Thanks!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open beer/wine/seltzer bar. If you’d prefer a mixed drink/hard liquor you will have to pay for that. Thanks for your understanding!

Question

Dietary Restrictions

Answer

Although our venue cannot accommodate specific dietary restrictions, there will be options in the buffet that are gluten free/vegetarian. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Question

Can I take photos & video during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged” ceremony, no phones or cameras in use until the reception. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say “I do.” We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos/videos as you’d like!

Question

Will you be doing a dollar dance?

Answer

YES! We are so excited! Make sure to bring your best dance moves and some dollar bills…;)
