Is transportation provided for the wedding day?

Answer

Yes! On the big day, we’ll provide a shuttle from The Cosmopolitan to the Sure Thing Chapel for the ceremony, then on to the reception at Maggiano’s Little Italy. You’re welcome to return to The Cosmo via rideshare or your own transportation after the celebration.

Do I need a car in Vegas?

Answer

Not at all! Vegas is very walkable, and rideshares like Uber and Lyft are easy to get. Between hotel shuttles, taxis, and good ol’ walking, you’ll get around just fine without a rental car.

What should I wear?

Dress to impress, Vegas-style! Think cocktail attire that’s fun, festive, and comfortable enough for dancing. Glitter, rhinestones, feathers, cowboy hats, leather, chains, combat boots - you name it! Keep in mind - we want you as you are! Whatever makes you comfortable is what's most important! Vegas in December can be hot during the day and cooler in the evening.

Do we have a room blocked booked?

Answer

We don't have a reserved room block, as our wedding is intimate and it wasn’t cost-effective to set one up. However, we recommend staying at The Cosmopolitan, where most of the wedding party will be! To help keep everyone close together: Mention "King-Shirley Wedding" in the Special Request box when booking on The Cosmopolitan website. This helps the hotel group our rooms nearby for easier connecting and celebrating. ✨ Pro tip: Sign up for a free MGM Rewards account—it often unlocks lower rates when booking directly with the hotel. A wedding day shuttle will depart from The Cosmo, so staying there will make things extra convenient!
