In the event of rain, we intend to run the ceremony in the Kirk Lodge.

What should I wear?

Answer

Beach formal for the ceremony: Collared shirts and pants for men, sundresses or skirts for ladies, and sand-friendly shoes. If you plan to stick around, don’t forget a change of clothes for the beach day! (The breeze off of Lake Michigan can be chilly too, so we recommend you pack a sweater or jacket.)

Things to know about Kirk Park:

• Kirk is a county park: Daily parking at Kirk Park is $8 per car for non-residents, and $5 per car for Ottawa County residents. You will have to pay at one of the kiosks in the park and enter your license plate number. • Alcohol is prohibited in the park. • The park is open from 8 AM to 10 PM, and the park will be open to other Father’s Day traffic on this day. We will have the Lodge reserved for our party all day.
