It all started at the Mangini residence in Shelter Island with the usual shenanigans -- games of baseball, stack cup, and cards - laughing from across the table and soaking up Labor Day weekend… but we can't forget the cheeky little Snapchat request (thanks Julia 😉). Fast forward a few weeks to the Adelphi gym, where we ran into each other again. Turns out we were both spending a lot of time there -- Jenna finishing up grad school, Yas deep in CFA study mode. All of which naturally turned into going to the gym every day… until we ran into each other again… and then fine-tuning our schedules so we would “run into each other” again. Needless to say, we were in the best shape of our lives. Then one day it was, “let’s grab lunch”… which turned into going to the beach with Erika… and then we didn't spend a day apart. From runs in Long Beach and trivia at Parlay, to bowling at Maples Lanes and nights out in the city and RVC. If there was a way to hang out, we were doing it. Then winter came… and our shared love for snowboarding really sealed the deal. #SnowboardSundays Yearly snowboarding trips to Colorado with the SnowboardSunday gang turned into a spontaneous four-year move to Colorado. Snowboarding every weekend, making new lifelong friends, and an ENGAGEMENT (she said YAAASSS). Lots of travel, lots of adventure, and soaking in all the beauty the world had to offer us. Then it was back to New York, a fun (short :/) stint in Astoria, a SECOND engagement (YAAASSS x2!), and buying a house. And now here we are, still doing life side by side, still choosing each other, and ready for our next (and best) chapter yet. We're excited to celebrate with you all!!! Get ready to PARTYYYYYY! ❤️❤️❤️
