Ensenada is roughly a 1.5 hour drive south of San Diego. If flying, we recommend flying into the Tijuana Airport or San Diego Airport. If flying into San Diego or driving, you will need to cross the Tijuana border. Please don't forget your passport!

San Diego Airport

The San Diego airport is roughly 30 minutes from the Tijuana border. You will need to rent a car to get to Ensenada. You also have the option of getting an uber to the border and hiring a driver in Mexico.

The Tijuana airport is a great option for those flying in! The flights are typically cheaper, and you do not have to wait in long border lines flying in and out.
