What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 2:00 PM as traffic in Chicago on a Friday can be challenging. Please be seated by 2:15 PM. Ceremony will start promptly at 2:30 PM.

Plus ones are by invitation only and will be specified on your invitation.

Please join us for an intimate, adults-only evening.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress to impress in formal evening wear. We suggest gentlemen wear a tuxedo or dark suit and ladies wear a floor length evening gown or an elegant cocktail dress.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All celebrations will take place indoors. Our cocktail hour will be hosted in a flexible space where you can choose to celebrate indoor or outdoors in the courtyard.

Yes, please notify us of any allergies or special requests when your RSVP.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, there will be an open bar featuring beer, wine, and cocktails.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Parking is available at both locations, but we encourage our guests to leverage public transportation and/or Uber/Lyft to get from their hotel to Holy Name Cathedral and Galleria Marchetti.

Is there parking for the ceremony at Holy Name Cathedral?

Answer

Complimentary parking is available at the One Chicago Square parking garage, located at 14 W. Superior Street (northside between State and Dearborn) for the duration of the wedding. You may park on Lower Level One or Lower Level Two for a maximum of two hours. Your parking ticket must be validated in the church vestibule in order to exit the garage. General Instructions: 1. Enter and exit on Superior Street driveway. You may park on Lower Level One or Lower Level Two for a maximum of two hours. 2. Once you have parked, turn left and go down the ramp to Lower Level One. 3. Follow signs for the LOBBY where you will find three elevators to bring you up to street level. 4. Proceed out to State Street using the Pedestrian Walkway. 5. Cross at Chicago Avenue for your safety. 6. When you exit, the exit gate is the same location as the entrance gate. Just insert your validated ticket into the machine and the gate will open.

Is there parking for the cocktail hour & reception at Galleria Marchetti?

Answer

Valet parking will be available for a fee of $20/car at Galleria Marchetti. We encourage our guests to leverage public transportation and/or Uber/Lyft at the end of the evening to ensure they arrive home safely after the festivities.

The reception at Galleria Marchetti will end at 11:30 PM.
