Jenna and Toree's story begins on July 12th, 2023, a gorgeous and warm midsummer evening at Union Hotel restaurant. They exchanged sheepish grins and nervous laughs over a pasta dinner. She wore a bright pink dress and he donned his cowboy boots. One date turned into two, two into a few, and on September 9th, 2023, Toree asked Jenna to be his girlfriend on the beach, at Duncan's Cove, Bodega Bay. It wasn't long before they fell in love. Their lives began to intertwine, playing golf together on weekends, watching the 49ers on Sundays and hitting their favorite foodie spots all over Sonoma County. Although their lives were different, they found solace in each other, Toree's shy nature calming her and Jenna's spontaneous energy bringing color to his world. After meeting the Madsens and Smiths, family cabin trips, moving in, and rearing their precious dogs and ducks together, it was time for him to ask her the most important question of their lives. On September 9th, 2025, at Duncan's Cove exactly two years later, Toree Smith got on one knee and asked Jenna Madsen to marry him. She, in a wave of emotion, exclaimed, "yes!" and he graced her with the most beautiful ring she'd ever seen. That evening, they celebrated at Stark's Steakhouse, and shortly after, ran away to Tahoe to bask in their deepening love.
