If you aren't familiar with Turo, it's like Airbnb for car rentals. Rentals from the normal companies are also available from the airports, but Turo will cost you significantly less! Just make sure to look at the "miles included" if you're planning to rent from PDX and drive out to Bend.

Tumalo Lake Lodge & Cabins
Directions to Tumalo Lake Lodge & Cabins: Galveston Ave in town becomes Skyliners Road. At the roundabout at Mt Washington Drive and Skyliners Rd, take Skyliners Road (going west) about ten miles from its intersection with Mt Washington Drive. You will pass a middle school and elementary school on the right soon after you start up Skyliners Road. At about ten miles you will pass a group of houses on the right and then a bit further, on the left, a parking lot for a trail head. 100 yards further, on the left, you will see the Tumalo Lake Lodge sign. Turn onto the gravel road and drive 1.5 miles through the woods. When you reach the closed gate, open it and drive through, and please close it behind you. Continue straight and you will see a fork in the gravel drive that veers to the left and up the hill. Take that road up to the Lodge where you will find parking to the side of it. The main door is at the top of the tall stairs that faces the road. TIP: Download the directions and map offline before traveling (there is no service as you drive up Skyliner). Our wedding venue, Skyliner Lodge, is just at the top of Tumalo Lake Lodge's private access road. We will have several larger vehicles with designated drivers available to transport guests between the wedding venue and Tumalo Lake.
