Flights to Nantucket
Cape Air offers flights to Nantucket from Boston, Hyannis and New York. There are also select flights offered through JetBlue, United and Delta from Boston, New York, Washington DC and a few other major cities. Schedules in September vary. Flights on JetBlue are generally quite affordable and convenient when booked in advance.

Hy-line Fast Ferry
Hyline Cruises offers a fast ferry which is a one hour trip from Hyannis (Cape Cod) to Downtown Nantucket. It is approximately $81 round trip and there are parking lots located next to the dock in Hyannis.

The Steamship Authority Fast and Slow Ferry
The Steamship Authority offers a fast ferry which is a one hour trip and a slow ferry which a two hour trip from Hyannis (Cape Cod) to Downtown Nantucket. It is approximately $20 round trip for the slow ferry and $75 round trip for the fast ferry. There are parking lots located nearby and they have a shuttle bus to and from their private parking lot.

Seastreak Ferries
The Seastreak has ferries that leave from NYC/NJ and New Bedford, MA to and from Nantucket. Prices range, but leaving from New Bedford is a great way to skip Cape Cod bridge traffic.

We highly recommend using a local agent, Airbnb or VRBO to rent a property for your time on Nantucket. This is often the most cost effective option when split between a group. If you would like to speak to a local agent please email Henry Sanford (henry@sanfordre.com) and ask for one of their rental agents. If you would like to be walking distance from Galley Beach, we recommend looking for houses in Brant Point, Town or Cliff Neighborhoods. Booking a house as far in advance is ideal as properties on island become limited.
