We first met my freshman year of college, his sophomore year, when he stopped to say "hi" to me in the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College Lobby. After a brief greeting, we went our separate ways until the next year. I was living in the sorority house and ended up rooming with his roommate's girlfriend. We became mutual friends and added each other on social media. He eventually asked me if I wanted to get drinks and dinner on what was coincidentally Valentine's Day 2021. We ended up braving the Oxford snow week together and soon after officially started dating in March. From there we had summer hometown dates and another few years at Ole Miss together (minus my study abroad in Spain). Upon graduating with my Bachelor's and Seth with his Master's, I moved to Birmingham, AL and he moved to Nashville, TN. We spent the next two years traveling up and down I-65. We finally closed to gap in July 2025 when I moved to Nashville to continue my career in higher education. He asked me to marry him on November 2, 2025, the Sunday after Ole Miss played South Carolina and won, adding to our record breaking season. Oxford has always held a special place in our hearts and we are so happy to officially begin forever where we first met all these years ago.
