Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoors and the reception is indoors/outdoors. We have the option to move the ceremony indoors if inclement weather hits.

Question

What kind of weather should I expect?

Answer

The average daily high is 90 degrees. We will have fans available to help guests stay cool while we exchange our vows. The ceremony and reception will be held at the same location.

Is there a block of rooms reserved at a hotel for out of town guests?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at the Cambria Hotel Downtown. Information about making reservations and prices can be found under the travel tab on this website.

Will there be shuttle transportation to the venue?

Answer

There will be a shuttle transporting guests to the venue. Please indicate when you RSVP whether you require shuttle transport and where you need picked up from as we are offering pick up the Cambria Hotel (at 2:15 pm) and from the Manawa Walmart (at 2:34 pm). The shuttle will be returning from the venue at 8:30 pm and at 11:00 pm.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

This event is dressy casual. We suggest that men wear a long or short-sleeved shirt with slacks (no jeans please) and ladies wear a dress or dressy separates.

Where do I park?

Answer

Parking is plentiful at the venue, Willow Creek. If the parking lot is full, you are welcome to park in the grass along the road as you drive into the venue.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Please check your invitation. If your invitation indicates your significant other's name and/or says your name and "guest" we would be delighted for you to bring a plus one!

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes! We will have babysitters available for you to drop your kids off to play and have fun while mom and dad play and have fun in other ways. If you plan on using the babysitters, please consider bringing some toys you know your kids enjoy (we will have lots available as well). Also please consider on tipping the babysitters ;)

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

A gigantic charcuterie board will be available during cocktail hour. Dinner will consist of two food trucks where you are welcome to order whatever suits your tastes/nutrition needs. Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Drinks will be covered up to a certain amount. We estimate the bar will be "open" for 2-3 hours. Once the total drinks pass that amount, guests will need to purchase their own drinks.

Where are you registered?

Answer

As we've lived together for a year or two, We really don't need anything new. But if you were thinking of getting us a small wedding gift, Some money for our honeymoon wouldn't go amiss. We have set up a cash fund on this website under the "registry" tab. OR A wedding card box will be at our reception.

What time should I arrive to your wedding?

Answer

If you are driving yourself, please plan to arrive at least 30-45 minutes before hand in order to be seated before the ceremony starts. The venue is beautiful and has many walking trails to check out. You won't be bored!

What time will the reception end?

Answer

The reception will end by 11:00 pm.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony, which means that after you have an opportunity to take a photo at the beginning of the ceremony, we will ask that you silence and put down your phones and be fully present with us during the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer capturing the moment and we will be happy to share these photos with all the guests! After the ceremony, you are welcome to take as many photos as you would like. We will be providing a website where everyone can share their photos from the night.
