We grew up down the street from each other for awhile, but never really knew each other until high school when we became friends and then ultimately a couple!
Every year we go to the Spaghetti Factory for our anniversary dinner, so this past year was no different even with the Coronavirus. Our actual anniversary is July 3rd, but due to busy schedules, we had to plan our dinner a day earlier on July 2nd. We were seated in the Trolley inside the restaurant which was Jenna's first sign of suspicion because as many times as she has been there (which is a lot) her family has sat in the Trolley only one time (and they had to ask to). As dinner was coming to an end, Jenna started to suspect something was up even more because Reid said, "I'm so full. I think I'm going to need a box for the rest of my food." and if you know Reid, he RARELY has leftovers. After the check was paid and we were about to leave, Reid pulled Jenna into the center of the Trolley and popped the question as their server was screaming in excitement (see Facebook for the video). After dinner, we returned home to find our immediate families had decked out the house to celebrate our proposal!
