I really tried to come up with an elaborate and cute way to say how we met but it's a classic Dominos love story if you will. I had just started working there and about a month or two in, a new manager (spoiler alert - it's Phill ;)) got transferred to the store. Don't worry though, we didn't date until after he had left. In fact, we didn't date for monthsss after our first date - 7 months and 3 days to be exact. Although we weren't dating during that time, we would constantly hang out - enough for both of our families to not believe we were just friends. Despite outside voices, Phill pursued me and pursued me well. Now here we are, a little over 4 years later and he will be my first and only boyfriend ever!!!

It was a summer Saturday morning, and we had plans to celebrate Phill's dad's birthday during the day. However, Phill had arranged other plans that morning. As we were in the car, I had no idea where we were going or what we were doing. If you know Phill, he is terrible at keeping surprises, especially from me, so it's surprising I had no idea what we were about to do. We get to our destination, and as we are walking, I casually look at his pockets to see if there happened to be anything out of the norm (a ring box ;)). I didn't spot anything, but he sure did have it on him! He surprised me with a gondola ride, which was so sweet and all his idea! Before asking, he started saying super sweet things, and the only thing going through my head at that moment was - "holy crap, I think he's about to propose!!." Here's the kicker, it was an hour gondola ride, but he couldn't contain his excitement or wait any longer, and about 15 minutes in, he pulled out the ring box from his sock and popped the question. It was all a whirlwind, but I'm sure you all know my answer to that question ;).
