The iconic Seattle market that is open year-round. This is our favorite place for weekly fresh produce and evening strolls for the best skyline views. There is an endless amount of shopping, restaurants, and exploring to do in the market! If you head to Pike Place, we highly recommend checking out our favorite gelato place Hellenika Cultured Creamery for a sweet treat.
We are biased of course, but Washington is home to some of the most stunning national parks - Mt. Rainier, Olympic, and North Cascades. If you have extra time for a day trip, we highly recommend heading to one of the parks to explore! We would be so happy to share some our favorite hikes and areas. If you are looking to soak up some nature while staying in the city, we recommend heading to Discovery Park in the Magnolia neighborhood. Discovery has trails that provide expansive views of the water, and is located about 20 minutes from downtown.
The Seattle Aquarium is located right in Pier 59, a short walk from Pike Place. The aquarium offers an opportunity to discover the Puget Sound and ocean beyond - this would be a fun activity if you are looking for things to explore while in Seattle. It is also located on Pier 59, which is full of restaurants and incredible views of both the Seattle skyline and the water.
