Jenna and Mike met during their freshman year at the University of Notre Dame in 2017. What began as an easy, undeniable friendship quickly became the foundation for something deeper. They spent that first year inseparable—walking campus after calculus, studying side by side in Bond Hall, and building a bond rooted in laughter and friendship. In March 2018, they realized what their hearts had already known: they were meant to be more than friends. Over the next seven years, their love was shaped by patience, sacrifice, and commitment. Together they navigated college graduation and five years of long distance while Jenna pursued dental school in Connecticut. Through every flight, countdown, and late-night call, they chose each other again and again—proving that distance only strengthened what was always certain. On their annual spring break trip in March of 2025, Michael proposed while hiking Bell Rock in Sedona, Arizona. Now, as they begin their life together in Chicago in May 2026, they are grateful to finally share a home with their two beloved cats, Junior and Macho, who have been part of their journey along the way. They are overjoyed to celebrate their marriage at Café Brauer, a historic brick landmark that feels timeless and strong—just like the love they have built.
