Our story began in the hallways of our small-town high school—we were two teenagers from totally different worlds who somehow fit together from the very beginning. I was the farmer’s daughter: grounded, warm, surrounded by agriculture and a large, close-knit family. Luke was the athletic, easygoing guy with natural charm and a talent for making friends literally everywhere. On paper, we were opposites. In reality, we were weirdly effortless—like two puzzle pieces you’re pretty sure shouldn’t fit, but somehow do anyway. What started as simple conversations soon became a connection we couldn’t ignore. Luke fell in love with my drive, loyalty, and ability to encourage everyone and I fell in love with lukes humor, his bright presence, and the way comfort and joy follows him in every room. Our differences didn’t divide us; they balanced us, proving that sometimes the most enduring love is born when two very different worlds collide and then shrug and say, “Well… this works.” Over the years, our bond has grown through the simplest moments we love: long walks with our beloved dog Winnie, who believes she is the main character, and evenings spent discovering new Italian restaurants within a 50-mile radius like it’s our full-time side hustle. What once started as a high school romance has become a lifelong promise—one we’re honored to share with all of you at our wedding. We are so grateful for every friend and family member who has been part of our journey and for those who will continue cheering us on and laughing with us (or maybe at us).
