Our paths first crossed at a game night at Jenna's house with our siblings. We sat across the room from each other and Kyle always says he will never forget how beautiful she was curled up in a recliner chair in the corner of the room. Though no moves were made that night, our paths would cross a few times over the years when Kyle helped Jenna move into William Paterson University where we both attended. We shared a few hello's on campus, but nothing else until a few years later in August of 2016 when "The Text" happened! Kyle texted Jenna to say hello and the two never stopped talking after that. It led to a night out at the park with their siblings with video games that followed. And just a little while after that, Kyle asked Jenna out on their first date. It was a romantic rainy night full of ice cream and talking in the car. Kyle obviously knew that food was the way to Jenna's heart and we quickly became best friends after that ;) We officially started dating on October 16. 2016, were each other's first and only relationship, and have been inseparable ever since. Lucky to be one and done!
What a surprise! On August 20, 2021 Kyle proposed to his best friend Jenna. The proposal was a beautiful sight all set up in Jenna's backyard! It was a fairytale scene of rose petals, candles, and pictures of the two lovebirds. After work, the two went back to Kyle's house to get ready for a dinner reservation made by Jenna's parents to celebrate her birthday before they went on vacation, or so she thought... there was no dinner reservation! This was all set up so that Jenna would not see the romantic set up in the backyard where she would be getting proposed to. When they arrived at the house, Jenna was pulled aside, and Kyle snuck outside to the proposal area. After a few minutes, Jenna walked out to see her magical set up. She made her way down the steps, through the flower petals and passed the pictures and candles, into a heart made of red rose petals. How could she not say yes when she was asked "Will you marry me?"
