April 14, 2024 was one of the first hot days of the year. It was a high of 80, so Kyle asked Jenna if she wanted to take the dogs for a hike at Bong State Park, where they spent a lot of time hiking and hunting throughout the year. As they were hiking, Kyle was persistent to find, what he thought was, a pier. As Kyle and Jenna walked past the location where the pier was suppose to be, Kyle quickly realized that it was a dam and it was chained off. Jenna continued on while Kyle stayed back to read a history board that explained how the dam got there, etc. At this time, Kyle was internally panicking as this threw off his plan! Kyle caught up to Jenna and the dogs and they walked for a little while longer. Finally, near a bench along the side of the trail, Kyle put his arm around Jenna. He said "I need to ask you something". It was at this moment that Jenna realized why Kyle was acting different on this hike. He knelt down and asked her to marry him. When they got home, Kyle had both of their families at their house, ready to celebrate! It was a beautiful day filled with so much love and excitement!

Jenna and Kyle had met through mutual friends many years back. As they became closer to each other, Jenna quickly realized she was falling for Kyle. Before they were even dating, Jenna said to one of her good friends, "I'm gonna marry that guy." And here we are today!
