Jenna and Karam first crossed paths on their very first day of freshman year in college back in 2018, though at that time, Jenna only knew him as “the red shirt guy” from the sand volleyball courts. What started as casual games; with Karam telling one of their mutual friends that Jenna was going to be his future wife (within the first week of freshman year); quickly turned into a friendship filled with late nights, parties, playing volleyball, and so much more. After three and a half years of building a friendship that felt like home, the timing finally aligned. In the fall semester of senior year, they realized what everyone else already knew and from that moment on, they’ve been inseparable. After graduation, life tested their love when Karam’s family moved to Massachusetts, leading to three years of long-distance. But miles never stood a chance since in the fall of 2024, they finally closed the distance and moved in together in Somerville, New Jersey, where they now call home. On October 12, 2025, Karam pulled off the most perfect proposal at Van Vleck Botanical Gardens in New Jersey. Knowing Jenna does freelance portrait photography, he secretly arranged what she thought was an engagement photoshoot for a couple. What Jenna didn’t know was that she wasn’t actually talking to the couple at all; she was unknowingly coordinating her own proposal with her best friend, who was feeding the messages behind the scenes to help pull off Karam's elaborate scheme. Jenna and Karam are beyond excited to celebrate their love and share their special day with all of you. Now let’s party! 🥂
