We met at Castaway Club in the fall of 2019 while Jordan was DJing and Jenna was leading her Young Life girls. Pretty quickly, Jenna decided that Jordan was going to be an important person in her life. Jordan? He needed a little more convincing. Fast forward through the following four years, we became best friends. We traveled to Disney World, the Fiesta Bowl (go frogs!), many trips to Texas/Portland/Chicago, and began combining our worlds without even noticing. We loved visiting friends, going on the boat, leading Young Life, cheering each other on in our creative avenues, going to countless movies, and eating a lot of Papa John's Pizza. Really anywhere the other was, we wanted to be. Even though we got questioned by everyone around us, we were "just friends." On December 2nd, 2024, we finally decided to stop wasting what we had and start dating, even though dating felt like a weird word for two people who had already been sharing so much life together. However, it didn't take long after that for dating to turn into engaged. Jordan surprised Jenna on a dock on Lake Minnetonka on July 6th, by asking her to be his wife. Now, we cannot wait to celebrate our story on December 6th with a private family ceremony, and then later with y'all for a reception that is sure to be memorable. Really no one, including us, could have written this story. It is only through the work that the Lord has done in and through each of us that we are here. We pray that Our Story reflects the way that the Father pursues each of us. His love is patient. His love is fun. His love is intentional. His love is constant. And His love is an adventure.
