Things To Do
The Ozark Mountains are beautiful!
Make sure to take some time to see some of the beauty that surrounds us here.
-One of our favorites is the Spring at Big Spring National Park. Its the largest spring in the United States.
-Jolly Cone is a local favorite for the Jolly Burgers and ice cream.
-Of course the Current River. Theres a few spots to see it from town. One of our favorite places to see it is where our oldest daughter Peighton was first baptized and thats at Watercress state park.It stays approximately 52 degrees year round. The water is so clean and clear you can drink it from the springs that come out of the sides of the cliff facings as you go down the river.
-There is a place to zipline here in town
-If you find you want to spend some time in the water and brave the cold water theres a few spots in town you can catch a gravel bar ( just be cautious the water can be swift and it does FLOW)
-Alley Springs is beautiful and its about 40 miles from Van Buren.
