The recommended hotel is about a 35-minute drive from downtown DC if you'd like to enjoy our nation's capital before celebrating! There is plenty of garage parking downtown and there are also parking spaces in and around the National Mall. All of the museums are free as well. Feel free to ask us for any recommendations.
Parking
There is plenty of public parking available in the town, but the best place will probably be under the bridge near Madigan's.
