House Or Rental
Renting can be cost-friendly for groups. Rental pricing for our dates should be around 50% lower than what’s listed on the website (what’s listed is for peak summer- July/Aug). Travel Note
Fire Island Ferries is located at 99 Maple Ave, Bay Shore, NY - when approaching, Ocean Beach ferries will be on your left, Seaview & Ocean Bay Park ferries on your right. (If staying at The Palms, you will take the Ocean Beach ferry). There is overnight parking, no reservation required.
Train
You can take the Long Island Railroad from NYC to Fire Island Ferries (Penn Station, Grand Central or Atlantic Terminal to Bay Shore). If flying into New York, the LIRR goes from JFK to Bay Shore via Jamaica. David's Shuttle Bus will be waiting at the Bay Shore train station for ferry shuttle (3 min ride; $6 cash; $8 venmo). Plan to have at least 15 minutes in between train arrival and ferry departure. LIRR schedule linked below.
Travel Note
The ferry is a beautiful 30 minute ride. Most of you are staying in Ocean Beach - Make sure you are reading the correct schedule for your destination and day of week. Ferry tickets can be purchased via the phone app FI mTickets or on-site at the ticket booths (you do not need to buy them in advance). Use the schedule labeled May 15 thru June 18 via the link below.

The island is two blocks wide and there are no cars. Enjoy! :)
