We met on our first day of law school orientation at Penn State Law in 2019. Jenna had just graduated from Ohio State and Grace from Michigan. The Dean introduced us because we were both "rivals" of Penn State. Grace was lovestruck at first sight. After having a good laugh about our respective "rivalries", we learned we were in the same section, meaning we had every class together. Grace started offering Jenna rides home from class, and a quick friendship formed. After multiple study sessions, dinner dates, football tailgates, and golf, Jenna learned she couldn't live without Grace. Grace was amazed, and remains so every day. After surviving the majority of law school during the pandemic, then bar prep, we set off to begin our careers in two different cities. Grace headed to up to Philadelphia to practice corporate law and Jenna headed to Raleigh to practice immigration law. We spent about three years traveling to visit each other. While we enjoyed exploring both cities, the midwest was calling. We found new jobs and moved to Chicago with our dog, Ruthie. We love the city of Chicago and got engaged here on the riverfront last summer. We also love traveling, skiing/snowboarding, golfing, and recently - sailing! We're so excited to celebrate our big day with you, and so grateful to our families and friends for all of their love and support.
