Oregon Museum of Science and Industry - great place for family and adult fun! Check out OMSI's website to see their current exhibits.
One of our favorite pizza spots. They serve pizza by the slice and have a great garlic knot bread. We also love their caesar salad.
This is one of our favorite food cart pods. They have Herb’s Mac n Cheese, sushi burritos, Norwegian Viking food and more. They also have a covered tent with tables if the weather doesn’t want to cooperate.
Quick breakfast spot near our home in SE Portland. Amazing sandwiches and has browns, quick casual eating. Seating can sometimes be limited, but there is also outdoor seating available.
Another affordable breakfast option in southeast. This one specializing in waffles out of a window. Yep, and it’s delicious!
Fun nighttime entertainment, this bar-cade is one of our favorite date nights. Enjoy an adult beverage and some grub while you play pinball and other arcade games. Their menu and weekly events are listed on their website.
Family friendly hike with a beautiful view of Portland. Historical French Renaissance home open to tour, but you can also just enjoy the outdoor part of the mansion for free and get a chance to see the panoramic views.
This large neighborhood park is one of our favorites, just a quick walk from our house. Mount Tabor has a plethora of hikes available to you. It is June so there will be many flowers blooming all over the park! Come for the flowers, stay for the panoramic view of the city. And, if it’s a clear day, you can see Mt. Hood in the distance.
An expansive and walkable botanical garden in southeast. This is only about 12-15 minutes away from our house. A no-cost activity too!
