In July 2021, Jenna slides into a booth at Bamboo Cafe in Richmond, VA, excited to finally meet the guy she's been texting for a month. The first thing she notices is his striking blue eyes and his warm smile. As they settle in, she asks "how was your day?", and that's when Eddie hits her with "It was good! Actually, I signed a lease today in Arlington." They proceed to have the best first date ever, connecting instantly and easily, after which she goes home to sulk on the couch because she likes a guy who is about to leave town. But, the joke's on her, because they give a medium-distance relationship a shot, fall in love, he moves back to Richmond, and they live happily ever after!
