What costs are associated with the weekend?

If you plan on staying at an off-site accommodation the note below does not apply to you. For those wanting to staying with the group at Seabreeze Lodge we are asking each person to cover $200 for the weekend accommodations. The amount can be sent to macleanj28@gmail.com before March 1st 2026.

How will the cabins be assigned?
Answer
We will be assigning cabins in early March 2026. Since many of the cabins are shared (with multiple rooms), please let us know if there are other couples, friends or family that you'd like to share a cabin with & we will do our best to accommodate.

What should I wear?!
Answer
Jenna: What a great opportunity to dress up! Make sure to pack a warm jacket though. Dave: I want people to be comfortable enough to dance, but looking sharp in photos. Think Coastal formal. Keep an eye on the forecast.

Where to grocery shop?
Answer
Make sure to do your shopping on the mainland. There is a small grocery store on Hornby.
Question
How remote is Hornby Island?
Answer
Hornby Island is geographically close to Vancouver Island, but is two short ferry rides away. Meaning that things like hospitals, grocery stores and other comforts are harder to come by. It's best to be relatively self sufficient by the time you're on the ferry.

What about kids?
Answer
Due to limited space for guests, we're asking that children over the age of two do not attend the weekend.
