What are we wearing?
Answer
Imagine running through a field of wildflowers in golden rays of sunlight with the love of your life- can we say dreamy? That's the vibes! We would love for you to join us in warm, colorful even floral inspired outfits. We can't wait to see you in garden party formal! To our men in suits- while we love a full suit moment and we'd love to see you all out, we are indeed getting married in Texas summer. We are not requiring suitcoats for the comfort of our guests. Our Groom's side will be in suits of course, refreshments on us to cool off immediately following! What we're not wearing: Pretty please, from the bottom of our blessed hearts, no fishing shirts or jeans are to be worn. While we may be in Texas, there is no longer a fiddle in this band and no barn in sight. Love you all lots, but absolutely not, thank youuuu!

Can I take photos of the ceremony?
Answer
Respectfully, absolutely not. While we are already dreaming of looking back over our wedding album and reminiscing on the day- we are not dreaming of seeing rectangular bricks in front of your faces as we look back on the moments. We encourage you to silence your phones and store them away to be fully present for the moment where years of love becomes a lifetime of commitment. We're only doing this once so let's do it together! I've hired my dream photographer to capture the day, meet Brittany Floyd! We'll share everything we get as soon as we get them! However, if you do capture any moments from later in the evening, please share! Text us, tag us, however you want. This is a day we've looked forward for ages + we can't wait to look back on it together!

Will the ceremony be outdoors?
Answer
Yes! We hope despite Texas heat and May showers to get married surrounded by beautiful mother nature herself.

Is there a timeline for the evening?
Answer
We plan to share a day-of timeline with you when you arrive! -We'll see you down the aisle at 5! -Immediately after the ceremony there will be cocktail hour and brief photos of the couple + family. -If you are a Grandparent, Aunt, Uncle, Cousin or Godparent- please stay close by for family portraits! -The lovely Mrs. Brittnay will have a list to ensure we capture the memories with each of you! We plan to join you all for cocktail hour and continue our greetings throughout the evening. We'll take pictures all along the way and if there's any you want, let's take them all! -Toasts, dinner and dancing: the good times will roll and we simply cannot wait to meet you all out on the dance floor! The real dance party will kick up around 10pm, get out there and get ready! -Last dance + exit will be between 10:30-11pm for those who'd like to see us off till the end! -If you've got littles or a bedtime, no worries! We'll do an exit from our ceremony too! I mean we have to celebrate what we just did at the end of that aisle right? Think rice on the church steps, again can I say dreamy!

Is it an open bar?
Answer
Yes! If you'd like to join us at the bar we'll have an open bar featuring Texas made goods. While the drinks are on us- both the dance moves we hope to see AND the ride home are on you. Please ensure you secure a ride or plan to get home if you're raising your glass with us!

Is there parking for the ceremony + reception?
Answer
Yes, plenty! We found it quite easy to navigate our way to the venue our first time. The parking lot is a chunky, dark gravel- but it doesn't kick up too much.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Yes! See the travel section for hotels in order of distance that have 4 star reviews and above. There are lots of places to stay just by the venue and Lake Conroe, as well as just 15 minutes away as you enter Conroe, Texas (just south of Willis where our venue is).
