Flights are not included in the wedding package which gives you complete flexibility to book whatever works best for you. You’re welcome to use travel points, airline credits, companion passes, or track prices to snag the best deal. Transportation to and from the airport is not included in the room package. Our recommended provider is Lomas Travel, a trusted local company with private round trip transfers starting at $264 per vehicle for up to 7 passengers. It’s perfect for groups who want to share the cost and arrive comfortably. However, you are absolutely welcome to book transportation with any company you prefer. Once your flights are set, just reserve your transfer and you’ll be all set for an easy, stress free arrival at the resort.
Guests can secure their room anytime between now and November 5th, 2026 with a $300 deposit. After that, you’re free to make payments as often as you’d like and in any amount that works for you. By November 10th, 2026, at least 40% of your total stay must be paid, and the full balance is due by January 10th, 2027. We wanted to make this as flexible and stress-free as possible for everyone!
We’ll be hosting wedding events on Thursday, April 8th as well as on the wedding day, Friday, April 9th. To make sure you don’t miss anything, we strongly recommend arriving no later than Wednesday, April 7th. This gives you time to settle in, enjoy the resort, and be fully relaxed before the festivities begin. If you’d like even more time to unwind, many guests are choosing to arrive earlier in the week. Our wedding block is Sunday April 4th - Sunday April 11th however you can usually extend into the following week as well if needed. Just be sure your travel dates include the 8th and 9th so you can join all the fun!
The preferred airport is Cancun International Airport (CUN), which is about 60 to 75 minutes from the resort. You can also fly into the newer Tulum Airport (TQO), which is slightly closer, but Cancun has more flight options and typically smoother travel.

Most of the time it is resort casual which means swimsuits with cover ups during the day and relaxed summer outfits at night. Many restaurants require elevated casual attire for dinner, including long pants for men and dresses/skirts for women (no shorts or sleeveless tops). Everything is very comfortable and vacation friendly otherwise!
The resort provides bottled water in the rooms and restaurants, and that is what most guests choose to drink. Ice and beverages on property are filtered and safe.
Akumal is warm and tropical year round. Expect sun, 80s during the day, and slightly cooler evenings. Occasional tropical showers pass quickly.

Yes you can! If you want to plan an excursion, Bohemia can help, or the resort concierge can book activities for you. One of the best parts about the location of the resort is that you can actually take a short walk down the beach and reach the small town of Akumal. It is a laid back, charming spot with beachside restaurants, cute shops, local art, cafes, and easy access to snorkeling areas. Many visitors love strolling into town for tacos, a drink by the water, or to explore the little boutiques. The whole area has an easygoing, beachy vibe that feels very safe and friendly to explore!
