Welcome Dinner & Party

Dressy Casual
All guests are invited to join us at our welcome party to kick off the weekend festivities! The party will be held on the East Lawn of the Botanical Building at Balboa Park, and due to high traffic during this day & time we recommend arriving as close to 4 PM as possible. Food and drinks will be provided, and the party will be held outdoors on a grass lawn so we recommend bringing a light jacket & comfortable shoe. We can't wait to see everyone and begin the celebration. 🥳 *Location: on El Prado walkway adjacent to the Timken Museum of Art, the East Lawn is located in front and to the right of the Botanical Building of Gardens and Lily Pond. There are signs on-site to assist but feel free to give myself or Clay a call if you're having trouble finding us! *Parking: there are meters for $2.50/hour or $10 parking passes for 4+ hours available. We also recommend carpooling or taking a ride share service/taxi as parking can be limited during peak summer hours.

Wedding & Reception

Cocktail Attire
The reception will be held at the same place as the wedding ceremony, and we recommend arriving at the venue by 4PM. After the ceremony there will be a cocktail hour with appetizers, followed by dinner and lots of dancing! Open bar will be provided. *Parking: there are roughly 40-50 free parking spots at the venue and an additional 20-30 parking spots up the hill from the venue on Cosoy Way available for all guests to use on a 1st come 1st serve basis. We do also recommend carpooling or using a taxi/ride share option since our venue is centrally located in the heart of Old Town, San Diego.
After Party

For those who are ready to keep the night going with us, there will be an after party at the Lafayette Hotel which is only a 5–10-minute drive from the venue. This is an old Hollywood style venue with multiple bars and a fun atmosphere! We hope to see you all here! *Parking: there is street parking available if you plan on driving yourself or carpooling, however it is extremely limited. We recommend taking a ride share or taxi as the after-party location is very close to the venue and there will be plenty of nearby drivers available.
